Was just wondering the other day when looking round a 4b that lives near me. Would it be possible to fit the fuel flap and boot release from a 4b to a 2wd saph obviously would require the correct fuel flap and boot lock.

Yes,sure you could.Mine has both and I did do this mod many moons ago on a 88 Sapphire.Pretty sure its a straight forward job,just cant quite remember atm.It will come back too me

 

If I remember correctly it is one cable and if you pull it up it opens one, and push it down it opens the other? If my memory is correct (although it was a while ago) you will need the cable, lever, feul flap assy (incl inside the boot/rear quarter), and the lock I think is the same but has an extra connx on the mech attached to the lock.
