Default !/4 mile standing starts

Hi

Can anyone give me some advice on the best way to launch a 2wd saph from a standing start. I have been going to Santa Pod for some years. I have recently brought my Cosworth and really struggling to pull cleanly off the line. 2500rpm it bogs down and at 3000rpm it slides sideways wich is fun but slow. It runs 330bhp and does 13.6@109mph so its ok once it moving.
Are there any techniques or mods? I ve got some shims on order to see if they will help with traction.

Try 3000RPM then but drag the clutch a little till you are rolling a touch, get the feeling, dont just dump the left leg. Try different RPM and more or less clutch draggin. You may need more than 3000RPM though and a little more dragging so your just off the clutch as you get decent boost and traction. More experimenting mate

Thanks I will try this weekend if the weather is ok. I am not going to add anymore power until I can put all that I have got now down. I think I might struggle feeding in the clutch a it has one of these 6 paddle clutches and its in or out.

I have the standard rims. Any idears on a good drag tyre?
