thinking of a little project any pics welcome

 

My old mk1 xr2 which i sold a few years ago...







And not to sure where it is now, last i heard it was in north wales !

 

brings back memorys i had a blue one it was mint i payed Ł600 for it about 15 years ago probably sold it for about the same

 

will show pics of mine when its done....
only needs both sills, both rear arches, both front wings and floorpans welding in
then spraying....
then engine sorting out...
then bits of the interior....

 

mines still a work in progress, should be actually complete and on the road with new engine by xmas time. just need to get off my arse and finish it lol

Not seen a pic of the old girl in ages Dave!! There was no way that engine was standard

the seats on midland look ok, they are made by mamba but seem to be as good as these ones.
not sure where these are from as bought them off ebay as 'classic mini/ford/VW/kitcar seat' old but never used.
they say cobra underneath them, but didnt know cobra made them :S

 

It was standard mate ,thats part the reason i sold it .Just didnt go as fast as i wanted to go. great little car other than that

All depends how much your offering It would have to be a very very good offer to make me sell!! It dont move really tho, sits in the garage 90% of the time, so its a bit of a shame, but i love it and dont mind it sitting there!!

That blue one is prob one of my all time fave MK1s, think it's spot on.

Would love one of these, but not sure I could get on with one as a daily!
