hi i need help! iv taken the rocker cover off and 1 of the lifters (rocker thing) was just lying in the head and has pulled the bolt out along with the thread from the head . can i re tap it or do i need a new head ? and would it of caudes damge anywer else? any help would be great.

drill the stud hole using a 10.4 drill bit, re-tap and fit a 10mm heli-coil. job done !

 

May aswell do all of them whilste u have the helicoil kit out. Can b sure if 1 broke the rest will folllow.

 

That doesn't sound like a nice thing to have happen.... helicoil as above or a donor head, and don't drop swarf all over the head lol
