Default mondeo/st170 brake upgrade help

mk3 mondeo/st170 calipers is std the servo man enough?

what brake lines do i need?

tech drawings for spacer and what bolts do i buy?

I have had st170 on mine for a few years, standard servo is fine and standard brake pipes with braided hoses works perfect

got my calipers now just gotta get disc and fitting kit any info is much appriciated

Just use your std servo. Try to find the fitting kit from ebay. I bought mine for 13-14q and there are the spacers and the new bolts. You don't need to change your brake lines if they are in good working order. The only think you have to do is to drill the hub because the new bolts are M12 and the std M10... Is very very easy mod, don't worry!

Many here interested for mondeo mk3 brakes conversion! just fitted mine and here are two fotos, before and after. Rims are 16''.

su just drill and tap to m12?

No tap, just drill, the threads are in the calipers not the hub

are you using mk3 mondeo callipers and discs? looking to do this as an alternative to cossie as there is many mondeos in scrappys. cheers

u need 12mm spacers and longer bolts, then drill the hub carrier holes to m12 then bolt on

glad to hear original servo is up to job but i've read the upgrade to a mk2 mondeo servo is very worthwhile, anyone tried it?

dont think so off the shelf can have bells and rotas made

lots of people do it you ever seen how things like aps/wilwoods mount lol
