i said that standard pistons will be maxed out at 250bhp, everyone will tell you its a waste of time doing it with skimmed pistons,
you need
valve springs (Ian howell)
modded ext manifold
modded rs1800/rst manifold
ofac loom/ecu
injecters, 701's max out at 200
clutch kit
block needs hole drill iirc for breather
sump needs drilling for oil return
inter cooler
cosworth T3 turbo
boost pipes
skimmed pistons/decomp plate

valve springs? never heard that they need doing before now? doesnt have to be a cosworth turbo either does it?
valve springs are to stop valve float under boost , you can run around 5 psi on standard springs and you should see 200+ bhp at that boost
cheers paul
yeah i guess i could fit the springs but i honestly wouldnt want something unreliable as hell by running mega boost and power, id be more than happy with a turbo'd 2 litre zetec with 200bhp
