Default fuel swirl pot lift pump

Hey there! I found after some search a holley hp 125 gerotor pump to be used as a lift pump for my swirl pot. Does anyone knows anything about them? Are they good, reliable etc? Or if anyone has anything else to suggest...
The pump in question is here: http://www.holley.com/12-125.asp
Cheers!

What is the layout of your fuel system ?

ie, main tank and lift pump ?

If you are just using the original main tank, just use the original efi pump as the lift pump

I, m just gathering things now: The system will be: OEM fuel tank - fuel pump pre filter - lift pump (this pump, holley hp 125) - swirl pot - bosch 044 pump - fuel filter - fuel rail - fuel press regulator - back to swirl pot and return from the swirl pot back to the OEM tank. The car is a sapphire cosworth...

I did use a Carter/Federal Moghul 110gph pump ages ago as a lift pump, and yes it was noisy. But then so was the Aeromotive pump it supplied.

Once the engine was started and running, the fuel pumps hardly really mattered. Just depends what the car is used for, where the pumps are mounted etc.

For handiness and costs sake. There is little reason why you cant use the original efi pump as the lift pump. Especially as you are returning from the rails to the swirl tank.

The car now has a 044 pump as efi... So you suggest to use this to feed the swirl pot and then another 044 one from the swirl pot to the engine?

Yes that would work fine. And does make sense in many respects, as you dont have to buy extra pumps, or change lots of plumbing to achieve it.

Or you could fit a lesser efi pump, and use your existing 044 as your main pump.

Just depends what you want, but either setup would work fine.
