I did use a Carter/Federal Moghul 110gph pump ages ago as a lift pump, and yes it was noisy. But then so was the Aeromotive pump it supplied.

Once the engine was started and running, the fuel pumps hardly really mattered. Just depends what the car is used for, where the pumps are mounted etc.


For handiness and costs sake. There is little reason why you cant use the original efi pump as the lift pump. Especially as you are returning from the rails to the swirl tank.
