a full 3 day detail of my cossie

Well not a full 3 days on and off

saturday i washed it , clay bard it then auto glym resin polished it

sunday i polished it with auto glym HD wax, polished the windows and done the tyres

monday i hoovered it out , cleaned the interior, cleaned the alloys , the used merguiars yellow carnubar wax to finish as i wasnt happy with the finish with auto glym , then done the plastics and windows again

so since nice day tock some new pics .............

lush mate how long did you let the karnuba wax set before taken off as a valetor i leave this for over a hour then use auto smart cherry glaze over the top then wait 5 mins and take the lot off this has to be done with white and black cars to get a smear free and perfect concorse finnish

by the way she looks buff super shine for white well done great job

take me more than 3 days to clean mine

 

i left it on average 15 minutes a panel , it was hard work getting it smear free

 

i washed my fiesta st on saturday then spent hour and half clay barring it then gave it a good coat of auto glm super resin. Was really pleased with it, took some good pics of it in the sun. Then that night i pull into a petrol station and the paintwork despite being really bright gleaming red, looked bloody awful. Swirl mark central. I just dont understand, i used brand new towels to dry it and to polish it. Surely i dont have to resort to machine mopping it, its only 3yrs old.
