Default CTS stg2+ box ERST S2

I have a stg2+ cts box. This box has JUST been rebuilt with new bearings and mainshaft. It has also been fitted with a re-jelled diff. Mint condition having covered only a couple of hundred miles since the rebuild.
A bargain at £650, the rebuild wasn't far off that.
Box located in Nottingham

thats cheap mate good gearboxs just had mine done and its coping with 350bhp.

Yeah mate mint boxes. I price my stuff to sell, no point in having stuff laying about.

Not this one! Has all the normal cts 2+ internals, shot peened gears, new big bearings and mainshaft etc but it has an uprated re-jelled viscous diff. I'm not a fan of ATB's and this regularily out performed higher bhp cars on the track, it pulls out of corners much better. It's track and road proven not read about.

I agree with you about the Quaife unit, it's also very harsh on your gearbox and with our's being as weak as they are a viscous unit is perhaps more suited.

I'm not sure of its origin pal. The box used to belong to Tim Butcher and those of you who know him know he only buys the best. He ran an over 300bhp NMS spec engine and used this box, his car was a killer on the track.
