Very much doubt there is a dedicated place, but you can always use the oil pressure warning light sensor hole using a "T" piece.

Yes that's fine, it will get covered in oil and reflect the temperature that it is at, doesn't matter about being under pressure.

These use paper oil filters don't they, so not sure if you can get a sandwich plate? Somewhere where its in the flow of oil would be best, T-piece might not give an accurate reading of temperature.

Liquid(oil) conducts heat very well, in the oil pressure switch position it will give a truer temp reading than in a sump subject to airflow, and that's before it is compressed by the oil pump and picked up more heat.
