Default 3 door and saph rear turrets

Is there a difference between the two?! Got a strut brace off someone I work with which gfs ex had left behind but didn't know what it was for, tried it on mine but can't get it to fit my sapphire so wondered if there is a difference between the two invade it was meant for a 3 door.
Said it was deff off a cossie thou!!
Cheers

Tony

I'm 99% sure they are the same, if I remember in the morning I'll measure me dads 3 door and my sapphy strut distance for you.

Cheers mate, looks more like one someone had made but it won't slide down between the turrets and doesn't have bolt holes so can't be arsed grinding bits off to make it fit!!

Easiest way is just buy some 3/4" square drill a hole in each end to suit and use slightly longer eye bolts on the top mounts, being just on one side will work on the road no probes, ideally these want bracing from each turret to the centre floor area though, but can be made as a complete "bolt" job so no welding involved if you wanted.

That would work well, if you put a left hand one in one end could just turn to adjust then without having to take off, if you want a left hand thread doing just pm me, and I'll knock up a slug with a l/h thread in it for you, then just weld on bar.
