Default Bored on Wednesday so decided to go for a drive up the Elan Valley

Washed the car Wednesday morning and though I'd go for a little drive. Ended up in the Elan Valley, somewhere I haven't been for years. Some of the best driving roads in the country. Stunning scenery and some lovely quick roads. There were a few occasions the car when really pushed (and the misses ) reminded me it's little more than a Ghia underneath with a set of lowering springs. But in all fairness, the old XR wasn't bad at being thrown around at all.

Just great sight lines everywhere, empty roads, bliss. 8)

Gutted as we left at short notice and the battery was dead on my proper camera, so had to use the girlfriends crappy digicam

Pictures aren't in any particular order so enjoy.

This road was amazing. It runs horizontal to the skyline right the way across then a nice 90 degree right and a real quick fast run down hill.

Will be my first point ofcall when the RST is back on the road
