Exclamation Troubble with Sapph 4x4

I have some trouble with my cossi and dont find the reason, so i try to disclaim it on english and hope somebody can help me.

Since 2 weeks i have 2 problems.

1. If i starts driving with low rev, or drive very slowly at a traffic lights or crossroad as example it gets misfire, as if I turn off the ignition a second. Its very annoying in the City. But it happens not everytime.

2. If i was drived some time and stop somewhere, my revs go down to approx 500 rpm, so the engine nearly goes off, some seconds later they goes up to 800 rpm, and stay there.

I have changed the idle speed valve and have build in new parts (air charge sensor, engine coolant sensor, T.P.S, dizzy cap, rotor arm, spark plugs, ignition leads).

Now i havent any idea what i can try next. Im happy for any good advices..

You could try the phase sensor which sits in the distributor under the dizzy cap, the wires on these sensors corrode and break down causing running probs, as you have stated you have changed most of the other sensors.

Another thing worth doing is cutting out the plugs on the bulkhead and hard wiring as this can cause running problems.

If you look at the back of the cam cover, directly above it there will be three big multiplugs mounted on the black panel. I have known these to cause all sorts of electrical gremlins due to bad connections in the plugs.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have ordered a new phase sensor and crank sensor, tomorow i think i will order a new fuel filter, its 2 or 3 years old now.

I think a map sensor do i have in the garage to test it.

And the multiplags i will check and cleaning them, i dont want to cutting them out...

I hope i can do all this next week, if i have time and the parts arrive me fast..

Just a suggestion but after you change each sensor go for a drive to see if the problem has stopped that way you will know exactly what was the fau

Hope you get the problem sorted...

This week i have changed the crank sensor, fuel filter, rewirred the fuel pump, checked the 3 Connector of engine loom and cleaned the idle speed sensor ..

So i drived now for 2 days, and had no missfires and the revs goes only sometimes down to 500 rp/m

Now i will try it some days more and look again at the idle speed sensor.

As i changed the air charge sensor 2 weeks ago the missfires was gone for few days,
and come back..

Worth also considering the age of the engine loom.... they break down over time and start to get a bit dodgy.

It seems as if you have tried the most common things that would go wrong, unfortuanetly it starts to become expensive after that...
