As I can't post in the wanted section where can I get a good 2nd hand 2wd dipstick and tube from?

If you get stuck it's easy enough to make one, just need the dimensions and depth etc, I have these written down somewhere.

its a tube i need really as the dipstick can be fixed but the tube is bent and too short its had some grinding done on the top

 

Simple to buy a length of tube and cut to length, if you still get nowhere pm me, could always use a tube slightly bigger and lathe the block part to fit then cut to length.

Hi,
I measured the dipstick tube from my 2wd today for you.
Outer diameter 10.3mm
Inside diameter 8.15mm
Length 265mm
Markings, measured from the "collar", that is on the dipstick itself and plugs into the tube when inserted fully, minimum mark 405mm, maximum mark 384mm
Hope this helps, the tube is no problem, the inner diameter isn't super critical, so long as dipstick passes through, the outer I could easily lathe down from a 10.5mm or 11mm for you if wanted.
