Default bolts for the metal gasket thing on a turbo

ffs how do i put this into words..........the metal gasket type thing that goes inbetween the ex. housing and the water pipe bit......any way i've lost a bolt from it (little 13mm things).......do they go all the way into the ex. housing and block a hole or do they just go in so far...???......ask questions if u dont understand wtf i'm talking about.....

so without the bolt will it leak exhaust gases or can i just tighten up the others to make it "safe" till i get another bolt...??....ta......thanks....love you all

they only go so far in if you put a longer bolt in you run the risk of cracking it fords still do these bolts as when i had my cossie mine kept coming loose so bought new and that stopped it you shud be fine till you get some new ones just make sure the others are tight tho
