Default Fuel Lines (HELP!!)

Anyone know how to seperate the high pressure fuel line from the regulator to the hard piping that runs along the floor pan??

I need it all off and don't wanna break anything

also the hard plastic piping that fixes into the inlet, it's seems like it's moulded on there.

The only way I could see you re-using the old bit would be to apply enough heat to soften when removing putting back on, not worth the hassle imo, as pressure goes 10 bar is peanuts, will easily seal with a juby clip or similar.

they are removable, there is a special double prong tool to get them off the metal pipe, the prongs slide down into the body and release the clip

I bought a set of these from our toolman.
Pretty cheap and come in handy too.
You could try and make soemthing yourself - it only needs to push the spring back enough to pull the pipe out.

They aren't the proper tool, although they may work. I borrowed the proper one from work and have now managed to source one. It cost me around Ł25. I tried heating mine as Tabetha mentions but it didn't work for me. Mike are you in Cornwall?

Did my reply get totally ignored then?

The set cost me less than a tenner and has been used by various people to remove their fuel rails from the fuel lines.

He wants to remove the fue pressure reg from the line though, your tool removes the inlet side.

Don't see why he can't jsut either unbolt the reg from the rail if its 4x4 or just un jubilee clip the reg if its a 2wd and leave the moulded fuel pipe on it?

As it stands all the fuel lines are on the garage floor under the car connected to the fuel rail (it is 4x4)

I need it all stripped down to polish the rail up as I'm buftying the whole car

I could live with a jubilee clip on the regulator and inlet if I have to cut them off but my main problem is seperating the flexy high pressure fuel line from the hard fule pipes that run under the floor pans
