The boys head to Germany with their new toys.
It's the second episode for series 15 of Top Gear and Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are up to their usual tricks.
This week they attempt to find a trio of cars which are equally at home screeching around the race track as they are at transporting the family about town, all for a budget of £5000.
Their finds result in a BMW M3, a Mercedes 190E and a Ford Sierra Cosworth being put through their paces in Europe's home of speed, Germany.
Meanwhile Alistair Campbell is the star in the all new Reasonably Priced Car race. How will the British journo cope with those corners?
Finally, James makes a rare visit to the Top Gear track to test a pair of Porsches - the 911 Sport Classic and Boxster Spyder.

Who wants to bet the Sierra get's slated as being unreliable and breaks down a lot? Seems to always be negative with these programmes

 

Im fairly confident in the old sierra , the last few E36 m3's i have seen latley i wouldnt have wanted them to germany either & as for merc cosworths ive never been a fan

 

you never know, Jeremny might crank the boost up and trounce the others!

 

Bets on who gets what i say captain slow in the merc,hamster in the m3 and jezzer in the cosworth!

 

Hope may dosent get the sierra

 

Cossie is bound to be Clarkson as he's always been a fan. May will be the Merc and the M3 with Hamster, I'd almost bet on it.

Hope they don't trash them as they so often do.

Clarkson LOVED his Escort Cossie. He will rip into the image, but I would think he will be trumpeting about the turbo

 

I can see this being one of the best challenges yet, Clarkson proper loves Cossie's

 

in top gear mag it says on the way to germany bits start to fall off so i bet he wreck the cossie shame

 

i hope they have a budget to spend on them,you just know clankson would put a gt35 on with no other mods

 

Cossie looks like its got the standard exhaust! So may never have been touched which probably means weak standard actuator and low boost. Hope he dont wreck it though as it looks nice and original.
