that was my trick i went flying past the pub, saw it, braked... no chance to the island and come back i wasn't even going that fast but the brakes on the 'tina aren't the greatest.

HI mate iv 2 on this year and each time i sent over 50. PS,s out each time to the lads in the birmingham group . I got 2 replys and had 4 cars at the first meet and 6 at the second meet which did my head in for all the hard work i put into sorting them out . so at the mo i can not be bothered untill the lads get behind me and at least reply when i send out PM,s to tell them theres one on

Maybe it's worth trying somewhere more central for the meet? It's a fucking mission across town these days so by having a meet in e.g. hockley heath, it's a pain for anyone from sandwell/great barr/etc to come. This is not a dig at you but every time this happens when a meets organised, people always moan about locatin!!!!

To be fair its not as if its a once a week meet or even a bi-monthly meet its once a month!!!!!

Half the people that attended the last meet had traveled atleast 20miles me included!!!

I completly understand you will never please every1 but the new locatin is spot on, a fantastic pub with a car park big enough for what we need, n its only 2 miles at the most off the m42,

coley put loads of effort in to the meet last time n was i-m-o let down by people not even bothering to reply to a pm!!!

I completly understand the england game was on but the attendance for the last 2 meets was quite frankly poor, i understand it will take time for numbers to grow but the last thread had a fair few people Saying they would turn up!!

Indeed and I was one of those who said they'd turn up and then didn't - for which I am somewhat ashamed. For me it was more an issue of tiredness due to working in Leicester till 1am that morning after quite a hard week - I don't follow the footy and we're onlyabout 10/15mins from the pub (Shirley / Colebrook) so it wasn't an issue of travel.

Anyway - I'll make a much more concerted effort to attend the next meet. The only one I've been to in years was the one at the pub off the A435 last year(!) and it was pretty decent

I will sort a meet for the end of the month and we will see how it gose and just so every one nows we had to move were we have the meets as the pub closed down and the jipos moved onto the site and all so i drive round from great barr birmingham to get there i could say lets have it on my door step but i put it to the lads on here and they were the ones that said the pubs were nice over were we have the meets . as TEV said i will never please every one . well we will see how the next one gose WELL LETS PUT IT THIS WAY WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE IT TO BE DATE WISE
