Indeed and I was one of those who said they'd turn up and then didn't - for which I am somewhat ashamed. For me it was more an issue of tiredness due to working in Leicester till 1am that morning after quite a hard week - I don't follow the footy and we're onlyabout 10/15mins from the pub (Shirley / Colebrook) so it wasn't an issue of travel.

Anyway - I'll make a much more concerted effort to attend the next meet. The only one I've been to in years was the one at the pub off the A435 last year(!) and it was pretty decent
