Looks very simaler to a BD14 execpt you can use them with out any need for piston pocketing.

your not spending more money on it surely.

Only "heard" he picked up 20-30bhp over standard exhaust cam when in a bd16+ inlet t4 480bhp combo.
Not much help to you though.

I run that cam in my car and have done for 3 years. Think the other name for it is CW1.

I am just running the Inlet with a standard exhaust, the car defo drives better than it did before, feels like it comes on boost earlier and holds the power right the way through. I did go from L6 ecu with an off the shelf chip to L8 ecu and live map at the same time.
Standard valve springs, mildly ported head.
The was the car on a DD dyno last year, high and low boost graphs. The boost ppipe blew off on the high boost run due to me splitting one the day before and having to bodge one on for the day.

I think most run the std exhaust with a BD 14/15 type cam with very good results.

Steve my top end will be complete with a new inlet cam and double springs, I have the 4x4 inlet and 17.6mm spacer is fine and ports are 25/26. My bottom end has under 3k since build

The AB07 is 8.85mm and 256 degrees
So not that much extra lift but 15 degrees more duration

I see Stu's knocking the double valve springs (no mods) out at Ł144 posted maybe he'll have a little site group buy if enough were interested or would you just buy the one side for the high lift cam??

..........from what i was told it has more lift and less duration so it's not as laggy..........
need to know how many cams, and what price they are to buy from Kent/burtons...then i'll ring back and see if Ahmed can sort something out...Mark at grove says they do work well, but to get the most out of them u need a ported head

il be interested in a group buy or maybe just on its own if no one lese is interested? think ported head would be my next mod anyway, is there any advantage of the double valve springs anyway even if they are not 'needed'
