.........fook knows fella.....but steve's being told he cant have more power co his block aint up to the job.......
Seems a strange way for Tony to work, i know of 200 engines crack at 350bhp and 205 exceed 400 for ages so whats with that? i'm happy to keep going on mine until it goes.
I personally know a german guy running 530 on a 205 block, he didn't expect it to last either, despite going to the ring at least 2 times a month and using it hard on the autobahns, it's done in excess of 110,000, kilometres, about 65,000, that was 6-7 years ago.
I have seen some idiots bore these without a deck plate on, they are as wobbly as a wobbly thing when being bored so maybe that's one reason ?

Seems strange how my lift and duration figures for my old CW1 are exactly the same as the AB07. When i was talking to Ahmed about getting my car mapped i said it was on standard cams, he said i have just developed a new cam that could be used without pocketed pistons, He supplied and fitted a CW1 cam on my engine.
On kents old web site they didnt list a AB07 but did a CW1 & CW2, this has now changed to the other way around. Ahmed also developed a CW2 cam which is no longer listed, this was slightly more aggressive than a BD14 so a BD14+ of you like.
i wish mate, had a set up today at torques complete standard bottom end / head & cams, t38 greys 412bhp & 390 lbs/ft @ 28psi, was thinking about one of these cams but not gonna bother now thats plenty for me

The figures on the Kent Website for the CW1 are 8.61mm lift & 263 duration.
The AB07 in the Kent Book are 8.85mm lift & 256 duration.

Steve the figures i was given for my cam 3 years ago are the same as the AB07 you have just put up. Ahmed said to me 3 years ago it was his new cam he had designed. I assummed it was the CW1, you know what they say about assumptions being the mother of all fuck ups. I can only apologise for any mix up Steve i dont mind admitting when i got it wrong.

No worries mate
Just hope mine goes as well as yours after its fitted and the map has been tweaked

Steve
Steve your head will be ported more than mine, but my turbo is slightly bigger so should imagine it will pull very well. I couldnt change gear fast enough when i first had it mapped, still catches me out now if i havnt driven it for a while.
I had to use the car to get to work yesterday and i only managed about 7mpg on the way home, safe to say i am still enjoying it.
Cam combo's are most important when building a YB the Top Tuners spend lots of development time on getting the combo right. Please dont listen to the punters on an internet Forum they aint got a clue & no proper Tuner is going to give away his hard earned secrets. Im amazed at what people fit so far away from optimum for the Power levels its a joke .

At this level rod i dont think it will matter but in essence i totally agree with you..
The amount of people we get come in with a pair of bd16s with a gt 3071 for example, its just over kill...
You only need a good inlet cam up to 550 hp and then worry about the exhaust..
