Default cvh oil pressure querie

hello all
im after a bit of advice please, about 3 weeks ago my turbo went on my efi turbo,so i took of the turbo and took it to turbo technics,
the cars been sat around for three weeks or so and ive just put a brand new turbo on but when i turned the car over on the starter to get the oil up it appears im not getting any.
ive checked the feed pipe and the union that goes in the block all clear.
ive cranked it about 4 or 5 times for no longer than 10sec each time, just wondering if i need to crank it for longer or does it sound like i have a blockage, there was defo oil in the pipe when i removed old turbo.
any help much appreciated

sorry for massive post
cheers
mick

Disconnect the coil and crank it until the oil pressure light goes out.

It can take a fair bit of cranking to get the oil pressure up if the car's been stood a while. As long as you don't actually start the car it's not gonna hurt the turbo cranking it over

you're supposed to prime the turbo by squirting oil into it as well by the way.
