Default Hot Running Issue

Hi,
I am confused by a misfire I have been getting. I am pretty sure I have tracked it down to an injector on No2 clynder. The confusing bit is when the engine is cold anf or about the first 30 minutes the engine runs really well.

But then it get hot and begins to misfire starting and stopping.
I have unplugged the injector when it is misfiring and attached a noid light which shows power to the injector.

Anyone any ideas why this is happening - can they fail in this way?

Cheers

Frank
