Default Competetive Rates now available for Drivers with Zero NCB

Hi Guys

Basically we used to only insure drivers with 1 or more years ncb in their name.

Just to let you know we have organised a new scheme with an underwriter that if drivers have driven on a company car/ motor trade policy or as a named driver claim free we can allow a large introductory discount.

meaning we can offer competetive prices on performance cars for drivers with zero ncb.

At present we are not able to quote zero bonus cases through our website but if you would like to obtain a quotation please contact me on 01277 263030 and i'll be happy to provide a figure.

Best Regards
Neil

No

Some insurers we deal with allow a discount if you have owned the same car a year without a claim.

There are some postcodes that our underwriters have recieved a number of claims in leading to them losing large amounts of money in these areas.

Most insurance companies track their loses by postcode area and if they see an area losing money year after year they will no longer offer quotes.

Our main insurance company that we use for performance and modified cars has noted loses for the last 2 years in LU postcodes so therefore we are not able to quote.

Being a Broker we are always looking for new schemes as every insurer has different claims statistics so hopefully soon we will have another scheme provided that will enable us to provide you with a good quotation.

Its nothing against your postcode area mate its just bad luck that the over the last 2 years its had some bad claims.

I'm sorry i'm unable to help at present.

Best Regards
Neil

We have a minimum premium on modified cars of Ł400 fully comprehensive so if it was below that we would instantly know that we couldn't beat the rate.

If its above this price

Give me a call on 01277 263030 and i'll try and sort you out a quote.

No problem,

It may be that we only have 20-30 clients in the area say each of them are paying Ł500 thats a maximum of Ł15000. All it takes is nasty injury claim and a couple of write offs and the underwirters could be paying out near 10 times what they take in.

again sorry i couldn't help and Thanks for understanding

regards

What do you reckon on a 1988 Golf GTi 8 valve for a 23yr old new driver, 0ncb, 0 convictions and kept in the street at HD1 5PS?? With or without a Cat 1 TOAD alarm....

I ask on here rather than ringing up cause I won't be 23 til march but am taking on a crash course at the end of this month so should have my license for my birthday and after a rough idea of who wants what.

BIG UP NEIL AT GREENLIGHT

I spotted this thread today while looking at PassionFord on my phone so i thought i would give them a ring

I have used a Trade policy for 7 years now and as trade policys dont give "No Cliams" you get trade points instead. And you always have at the back of your mind if anything ever happens then you will only get TRADE VALUE for your car
I rung up for a quote and with NO NO-CLAIMS as said above, 6 Points and with ALL MODS declared it came back at a very resonable Ł799 FULLY COMP

I will be using Greenlight in March when my policy is up

Thansk Neil

A number of factors could result in a lower premium Age, Security, Mileage, 2nd car, driving experience and area are amoung some of the main rateable factors.
