Default What's worth visiting in the UK???

Hey people,

I'm going to the UK this weekend (from friday the 9th till monday the 12th)

The place I'm lokated is Winsor great park. Seems to be nice

Are there any company's worth visiting?? Or are there any shows / rallys etc. That weekend?

Maybe someone has any other ideas?

Cheers,
Bjorn

I live in Eton Wick which is in the shadow of Windsor. Can see Windsor Castle from where we are.

Not much car wise to do around here really. Obviouslly Windsor is worth a look, also Eton College. Then there is Dorney Court and the Eton Rowing Lake aswell. Other than that not much around here. Although London isnt far , literally half hour by train so would be worth a trip.

Are you staying at the Saville Court Hotel?

If you are and you're into cars, 5 minutes from there is Maranello's Ferrari dealership which is opposite a Loch Fyne [fish restaurant]. Probably worth going to eat there one evening and walking across the road to have a look at the cars between courses.

If you like Golf, you're 10 minutes from Wentworth? If you like horse racing you're 10 minutes from Ascot? If you like pikey shit holes, infested with gypsies, roundabouts and chavs, you're 15 minutes from Bracknell?

As said above though, not much locally [other than obviously Windsor Castle - can't see why you'd want to see Eton College unless you're a paedo] but you're only 30 minutes on the train from London

Uhh good question...I'll have to check the name of the Hotel...

I'm surely in to cars (especially Ford ofcourse) but Ferrari also sound ok to me.

No Golf, Horses or that stuff for me

the weather should be good this weekend so maybe a trip to the coast? you could go down the M3 motorway to Bournemouth/Poole which is very nice, or further West along that coast, known as the Jurassic Coast
