Can't imagine there is that much to it but its probably got a filter of some description inside that I would think would be wire mesh.

Why do you want to clean it anyway? 'Gunk' ma work too which is basically a branded engine degreaser.

If in doubt phone Bailey and ask them.

Hi

I sent a e-mail to Bailey and that is what Bruce Hatton from Bailey Motorsport told me:

"""""Many thanks for your e-mail. There are very few liquids that you could use on the oil separator that would permanantly damage it, but we would recommend a strong mix of engine degraser or if you have it available standard paint thinners - Either way these chemicals can eb harsh on the skin, so please wear gloves when cleaning the tank and do not let any liquid dry on the outer surfaces, as this will affect the polished finish.

We use standard paint thinnners here to de-grease alloy components before they are welded, very good, but very strong !!

Regards

Bruce Hatton

Many thanks for advices..........
