sounds like a misfire when coming on boost could be down to a host of different problems that 3dr's are plauged with!

Assume it's previously been mapped ?, and has it come on suddenly or got progressively worse, how old is the fuel filter, has the pump been rewired.

u can feel the car juddering,

not sure about the fuel filter but im going tochanghe it.......i got 1 of those air an fuel gauge in the car an sometimes runs too lean,,,could that be the problem?u reacon it will need to remapped?

If you can see sometimes runs too lean but other times ok, then this suggests again might be a clogged filter problem, it won't be down to the mapping with karl having done it.
Unless you have chnaged spec since the mapping it won't need remap.
The chips do actually wear out, amazingly it's true but not that quick.
My philosophy is fix what you know is wrong even if you think it is not related as it needs doing anyway, sometimes you get a nice surprise and it fixes other problems.

That IS surge. Basically the turbo is supplying more air flow than the engine can consume. Therefore the excess is backing up into the turbo, which is causing the noise you can hear. This is not good and can lead to turbo failure, as the turbo is fighting against itself.

You need the boost curve to be properly mapped to avoid this OR the cams dialling in OR the head properly ported (so it can consumer the amount of airflow given by the turbo at that rpm). I would guess that this is at around 3500-4000rpm and then disappears as the revs rise (as the engine is then working faster and can then consume the air).

You can drive round it by not loading the car in the higher gears (4th and 5th) at this rpm point.
