been looking for a thread with a zetec conversion for an escort rs turbo can only find for xr3i can any one help is there one not zetec turbo just bog standard zetec fed up with turbo problems so want a reliable motor cheers

i know how to do engine change just not the wiring any diagrams

 

Sell your rs turbo and buy a xr3i ? seems a waste of a rst converting it to bog ztec

 

I agree having looked into this myself and running it on bike carbs or throttle bodies. Sounded cheap to begin with but not much scope for big power and would have ended up spending more than I am now rebuidling the CVH in order to get the same power (or less) than I'm looking at now.

 

You would be better off converting to EFi.
