Cant wait, really excited, just talked to the current owner and made the arrangements to go and pick her up. Going to be a bit of a pain but hopefully have enough guys to help get it out and onto the trailer. Wait until you see the pics of it now!
heres the only pics i have of it from about 12-13 yrs ago.

Its not that bad with some time and cash thrown at it - jobs a good 'un, if I had the chance to get my old XR3i back which was in similar condition I'd sort it.
Looking forward to the progress mate, ignore the 'why not buy a minter to start with' shite

Right its been a long day but heres the story.....
Gave the camera to the wee man so he could keep track! (6 yr old son)

Went to get the van, trailer and got called to come and collect the bike! Turned round and went and got my leathers....

Brought the bike home and had some fun on the way, trying not to blow it up again!!

Went and collected the van and trailer, guy at the van rental place took his fkn time and was a dick but we got there in the end.

Most of the stuff was ready in the car but still had to go and get the interior at calums house.

Had a look around before we pushed it out.

Pushed it out onto the street and onto the trailer.

Took the car back to calums house to pick up the seats, was very nervous about it bouncing about on the back of that old trailer!

My boy! Loved the tipper!

OUtside calums collecting the seats

Went for a munch cos we were starving.

Got it home

And tucked away.

and the bike!

Photographer was bored so went to play.....we joined in shortly after!

Wee man checked the seats out....

All in all a good day, well pleased, couldnt care less about the condition its in, its my first car and i have it back, its going to get fixed properly and i cant wait to get it onto the road, most likely to have a 400 bhp 4x4 cossy stuck into it since most of it needs to be cut apart anyway.... cant wait!

Totally over the moon, the wifes no too happy but i think she knows fine well that there wasnt going to be any other decision than bringing it home, its the car that i always wanted back and when i had it all those years ago i talked to someone down south, (think it was roger motorsport?) about putting the cossy in. Being 17-18 i didnt have the money to do it but now i might just be able to swing it....
was sitting in the seats last night making brum brum noises!!
