Head gasket failure?
At the end of last season I took my car off the road early as it was showing signs of head gasket failure, so I just stuck it in the garage and left it.
Now the weather is picking up I thought it was time it was fixed so today I took the head off and what did I find?
NOTHING!

All that I have noticed is that cylinder 1 is clean and the rest are black.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Regards Cozzyspud.

Thats exactly what I thought but there is no sign of failure in any of the components, but yeah mate I could still do with that puller. I will ring you when I want to come and get it.
Defo got water in no1, due to the clean nature, check the head very carefully as these can develop a fissure from the super heated water, esp with alloy heads, can usually be skimmed away though.
If you look at the fire ring(no1) on the hg, you can see where it was blown.
