At the end of last season I took my car off the road early as it was showing signs of head gasket failure, so I just stuck it in the garage and left it.
Now the weather is picking up I thought it was time it was fixed so today I took the head off and what did I find?



NOTHING!









All that I have noticed is that cylinder 1 is clean and the rest are black.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
