Default Headgasket

My saph been off the road for 7mths and in the first week of motering the headgaskets given up

prob been asked a thousand times but which is the best option for me ?

im on greys and t34 on a stock engine, prob pushing it abit but not realy bothered, the car had a group a gasket fitted by PE just before i bought the car but to be honest i dont think it was done to a v good standard as most things seemed to be loose on inspection....

Not gone completly but noticed a little steam lastnite, was a couple of hours after booking into torques it sweems to seal itself after 5 mins

will a group a fibre gasket be ok again and standard ford bolts ? should i use arp studs ?

cheers paul

Yeah you need perfect faces for the wrc gasket. Go for a cometic triple layer gasket. Work well and tough enough for your power level

Group A or ST Escos will be fine on standard Ford bolts mate.

Ive ran mine like that at 34psi on a T34.63 for ages and it gets hammered within an inch of its life everytime I use it

I would defo go YB 0611, and I would use ARP stud and nut kit, for people fitting these correctly clearing and checking hole depths there will be zero problems, but the std ford bolts will be fine at that level, many 500bhp + engines using the same gasket.
