I've seen a lot of people rating the meguiars g220 polisher but wondered if there was anything better out there

the G220 is a very god machine and I have one that I use along with my rotart brilliant for the novice and you wont damage the paint!! another less expensive one to get it the Kestral DAS-6 slightly smaller motor than the G220 but still very capable but is is about £40+ cheaper. If its for a hobby stay away form a rotary polishers! hope this helps.

if you have not got much experience in machine polishing stay away from rotary machines to start with go with a kestral or g220 ,

A G220 is a DA so would be a step back from a rotary so you would be disapointed. Definately choose the G220 for a first machine though, i have one and it can achieve the results of a rotary it just takes a bit more time and effort

As already posted, you cannot go wrong with the Kestral DAS 6 or Megs G220 for a first machine.

I bought a G220 as my first machine and cannot fault it or the after care from Meguiars.
