Default anyone keep chickens? help,

hi all anyone keep chickens, thing is ive got 3 ex battery ive had them about 2 years and now one of them doesent look very well, instead of feeding herself from the grass she just looks fed up and is not eating she also looks very sleepy and close,s her eyes alot, ive picked her up and she,s deff very light, we took her in the house and she,s now eating some porrige we had.. but she looks very sad

wife keeps mentioning chickens lol, personally i dont think were have the room 3 bed house normal sized back garden, is it worth it?

there well worth it mate, ive got 3 that came from the same battery pen and there eggs are loads better then the supermarkets but there also good just to watch and chill you out

ive got a big garden but they dont need a big area they do need a shed are something to sleep in and there not noisy

Cant beat a proper freshly laid egg in yer pan, that fresh the shit's still slimy on the shell and the egg's still warm when you get it

Poor thing, just had a swan put away outside on the ice today as it was injured and wouldnt live much longer now that everything is frozen over here. Hope yours get better.

chickens go very quiet and tuck there heads in there necks when there dying,if it starts doing that best to put it out its misery,id only keep chickens on a allotment,my ex missus used to have 2 in the back garden and they attracted rats who attacked em.

Leave it to it mate its been stuck in a battery for years with no room at all to move it doesnt no what to do.
