not only have they docked me a days money that they'd ALREADY docked me from last month, they've also underpaid me by £1500
i've already spoken to the head of hr in regards to docking me a days wages in november for a day off i had in december and he said he'd sort it, so he's another one who's going to get a call after i've spoken to payroll
and then it's going to be head of ops, because he was supposed to call me 2 weeks ago to sort out the "volentary overtime" issues
nothing but fuckwits when it comes to sorting shit out where i work

I can sympathise.
I've just been paid by my new employer after a Tupe transfer.
Not only have they got my base salary exactly correct but they've paid me an extra "salary correction addition" of £450.
Heads will roll on Monday...NOT.
I'll just have to put up with being paid too much.

Join the club Dojj, im owed 3 months on call money and 100hours overtime, getting on for £4500k!! The cock in our HR centre in India keep telling me to 'resubmit it' which I keep doing, fookin idiots.
arent there actually laws regarding prompt payment that a PAYE employer can get seriously fucked over on by HMRC if they deliberately screw peoples wages up???
i thought them withholding large sums of money was generally only done by companies going under
A modern company in reasonable financial health has NO excuse to fuck up peoples wages that much. Sorting payrolls really isnt that difficult!

when i get to work on monday morning i can figure out exactly how much is owed to me, but there should have been £3800 quid in my payslip and there's only £2334.00
and that was including the overtime i'd done in december which equated to £186
all figures are after deductions too which is an even bigger kick in the bollocks
as for what i do, pharmaceutical logistics

he then signs them off to say everything matches up and then forwards the signs timesheets to payroll
payroll then pay according to what has been signed off
that would be great, but that sort of figure has already been sorted on my end so i know what i've earnt, he can check any of the numbers simply by logging into the computer to check
he's coming down to see someone on monday morning, so he'll be the first on the shit list
so in theory it cant fuck up unless hes deliberately refusing to sign off on your hours or the payroll people are incompetant and due sacking???
so basically hes not doing his job and checking and just making it up as he goes along
typical fucking middle management incompetant loosers. What is it with commercial companys and weak leadership and management these days?? is it any wonder this countrys fucked??

£15/h and i do around 60 hours a week on a normal week
£2500 of it goes straight away though, so in a lean month (£1900 take home) i struggle to make ends meet
in 2.5 years though, when the kids don't need the childcare, that extra money's going to go towards the mortgage fund so it can be paid off quicker

at my work when i stay away from home overnight i get £20 per night allowance. this is paid above the basic wage.
A guy at work had £220 of allowance paid to him in advance of him doing 11 nights away.
Because he did not put in timesheets, he was paid £220 LESS, giving him £570 for the next month. The MD said to accounts to dock him this money.
I suggested he phone ACAS, who after discussing with them stated that under the employment rights act ," it is unlawful for an employer to make any deduction from the wages of a worker employed by him unless the worker has agreed in writing to the deduction being made or it is required by law (eg deductions for PAYE and national insurance)".
As far as i am concerned, my work broke the law as the allowance is NOT part of the basic wage, the office know the worker was away for 11 nights as they had arranged accomodation for 8 of us, so far that there is no reason to dock him what he is due. The office deny breaching these rules, but have now said that if he produces timesheets he will get paid what he is due.
had it happened to me, I would have travelled back from the job in dundee to the office to speak directly with accounts and the manager
see here for the legislation

i would, with a choice between the law and giving you what you should have, you getting the money 'should' be the easy option

the company don't want to employ ANYONE on a saturday, which was fine by me because then i'd take a day off and use an agency driver to cover my route while i went and got vans fixed, and hired hire vans to use while the van was off the road
they soon put a stop to that nonsense about me not working saturdays but by then it was too late to work saturday's as my mrs had things to do on a saturday morning, i wasn't going to get up to go to work for an hour to earn £15 while i paid the childminder £10 to look after the kids, i may make some silly posts, but i'm far from stupid
