Right my mate's had this problem for a while now,And TBH it's pissing me off aswell as him to what the problem is,
So i wonder if u lads could shed any light,
Basically it has no spark but some time's it's intermittent,Now he has had the car 2 year and had 3new battery's on here so summat's up there TBH,
He has replaced the coil no joy,Ecu no joy,Relay for ecu no joy,Dizzy no joy,Leads no joy,Main coil lead no joy,
His alternator has a dodgy connector in it could this be a reason why the car spark's then doesn't imo no but u never know,
Also after a good blast it has lost all electric power,
It wont jump,He got a new battery again today,The spark just isn't there!
Anyone with ideas?
Thanks lads and lasses

Alternator wont effect the spark until the battery is flat, but it cant be good and would explain why the battery is not charging?!
Sounds to me like the green wire that runs from the coil -VE round the FRONT of the engine bay into the loom near the ECU has snapped, this triggers the coil from the ECU based on a signal from the dizzy.
If it's broken there will be no spark

Great help mate hope this sort's his car out cos i am bleeding doing me nut

to rule out another fault i'd get the Hall Sensor checked, just a voltmeter readed on it will tell if its working and not breaking down.
If this is faulty it will cause the car many problems like you mentioned. once the hall sensor fully goes the car wont start at all.......
