Default NEW YEAR DEAL: £1880inc for Jenvey TBs and V4 fitted and mapped

Guys,

Just putting this about as a little kick off to 2010.

We have done so many TB conversions now that our mechanic and autolec can turn them around in a day or two (leaving me to map it in the evening!) and as a result I am offering the above deal.

This is SUPPLIED, FITTED and MAPPED on our DD rolling road.

It includes the Jenvey throttle body system, linkage and TPS, and all the other bits and bobs (FPR, V4 ECU etc)

Its a drive in drive out deal. Bring your car to us and let us work our magic.

If you are running a Blacktop 2.0 Zetec, you will leave with 170bhp+

For and extra £660 we can make it 190bhp for you by fitting Kent SuperSport cams at the same time.

We are fast becoming recognised as an affordable option, that delivers proven results. I myself used to enjoy tuning cars for me, and thats why I don't think its fair for some places to be charginmg that price just for a fitting and mapping of an ECU without the TBs!

If you're interested please post up on here with your specs and I'll give you some ideas as to what you can expect out of the car/engine.

That price is for basically any typical 4-pot motor, from Pug 206s to XE Astras etc

Cheers,
Matt

Forgot to say, have a look here (scroll down to projects) and you will be able to see some of the past projects, and the power results etc.

What bodies are they that you use?

I know Jenveys but for a sigma for example - are you using direct to head bodies or an inlet manifold?

Seems a nice price, and good turnaround time.

Dan,

For the sigman we would use the DTH variant, otherwise its the TB type with suitable manifold.

Same price in each case.

Cheers,
Matt

lol guys

The I4 RS2000 is doable, I have never done one myself but we can do it. Whats the OEM powr output?

The 19 Kit:

Standard (new) blacktop 2.0 Zetec with FOCUS3 cams from Kent and V4 ECU and Jenvey Tbs. The cams had verniers but I left them at base settings here. I could probs squeeze it over 200 with some more hours on the dyno and cam timing, but the car was off on a road rally that weekend so we had to crack on with other bits and bobs!

You can see the cams really kick it up the arse at 5,500rpm! It goes like a rocket!

Gary,

Its hard to say the gains as it is quite a well tuned engine to start with. On a Zetec we see around 30bhp gain from TBs and a lot more torque accross the rev range.

Awesome deal that.

No use to me at all but for anyone wanting to go down that route you won't find cheaper.

The Vauxhall setup on MBE is more than that just for the kit, let alone fitted and mapped !

How long will this deal go on for, im starting to build a 2.3 I4 using the RS2000 2.0 head etc and this setup seems perfect for what i want!

It will be a couple months before i even have the engine to begin though.

Lozi,

Don't panic mate As most will say on here I hardly have a price list so just give us a call when you're ready and we'll sort you a good deal.

Cheers Matt

May as well bring this back up, as carrying out the same offer over in traders group buys, but now for £1850+Vat (Few more staff etc so overheads are bit a higher, hence the increase from last year, but the results very much the same!)

Pop your name down if interested....

Yes ap[parently if you retard the exhuast cam by a few degrees you will add 15bhp... this may be bull though so going to have to wait for a guinea pig :P

i did hear that one back when my bro owned an st170 but the figure was 10bhp lol. that car like most focuses drove brilliant just was so sluggish and drank fuel for fun.

i could imagine a throttle bodied version is much more like it
