Top End Knock 1.8 Duratec Mondeo 2001
We have just rebuilt a 1.8 duratec engine and have fitted a fully refurbished head, we got the engine started first time no oil/ water leaks but got a tapping/knocking nosie coming from the inlet side of the head, anyone got any ideas? we turned the engine over first on the key with no spark plugs just to get the oil round the engine
