Think I need one for my hallway door - getting a fairly strong draft from it (considering there's a good 5mm gap!)

Anyway, are there any that actually work? Or is the good old "brush" one actually worth fitting?

 

brush ones are ok, but will need to router door if you want them in the door, or you can get ones that screw to the frame. you can also get weather bars to go under the door and when you close the door they push down and seal against the floor. hope this helps

you get them little rolls of foam that have the sticky stuff on them
i simply put a doule layer on all the gaps, as in twice the width not one over the other, and it worked a treat

mind that you don't make the gap too tight as the door own't close properly afterwards without a BIG shove

I'll just pop into B+Q and see what they have. Just don't really wanna drill holes into the door if the brush ones are shit and don't do fuck all...

Needs to be moveable with the door, so that when I go through it and close it, the excluder closes with it - which I can't do if I'm on the other side of it!

 

oh right, so there's an actual gap between the door and the floor then rather than it being an outside door with a jamb to close up against?

in which case, you'll either have to get something front and back of the door to get it closer to teh floor or have one of them brush things on the outside and put a strip of carpet up inside when you go in
