does any 1 know the fuel pressure a efi pump gives out in bar not psi, was told it was 2.5 bar but not sure

 

The pump if the same as cossie and xr4i, the 941 is capable of around 10 BAR, this is why it has a fuel pressure regulator, to control the pressure in the fuel rail, most fuel rails are between 3 and 3.5 bar.

if you don't know already, then 8BAR should be right, cossie ones are a bit more.

If it is the standard bosch pump the lockout pressure is 11.5 BAR, HIGHER than that of a cossie pump which is still only 11.2 BAR for the 044(group a).
For your 0 280 254 910 pump is 3.25 Litres/min at 3 BAR.
The cossie one can be safely used even the 044 if wanted.
