I sold an item for £1 before and let the buyer collect. It should of sold for atleast £50, but hey shit happens. Bloke gave me £5 as good will, which I appreciated

Just sold another item for 0.01p with £7 delivery. Item cost £4 to send and after the Paypal fee of 0.44p (How they can charge more than the item sold for??) I made £2.50 on it.

Paypal should not include postage costs in their fees IMO.

i had the same with a sump baffle i won for peanuts and the bloke tried to charge me £45 for postage to try and boost the price up a bit, even though he'd listed the item with no reserve and a £12 postage fee.

in the end we came to a compromise and i agreed to pay him £20 postage.

at the end of the day a bargain is a bargain and your bid and his listing is a binding contract.

report him if he wont talk to you mate

I've won rs turbos for breaking before and the idiots wont sell. reporting them to ebay does nothing imho. ebay replies that they're perfectly within their rights to refuse sale, and i replied "what about the legal contract of auction" they replied " they're perfectly within they're rights to refuse sale literally a brick wall.

i paid good money for them aswell in my opinion. i was last year when i was looking to convers my orion, and neither had tax or test. I won one for £1200 and he wouldn't sell, telling me politely that he wanted more, i could pay more if i wanted but he was sorry he would accept the conciquences, and i won one for £1000 and the guy wouldn't reply. i sent him a message along the lines of "hi mate, i won the rs turbo, i need to pick it up please as i've only got limited use of a flatbed, Regards, joe. "

reply was.

"you dont get these cars for £1000 do you think i'm going to sell it for that get real".
but it was abit more chavved up than that.

ebay has gone to shite in the last 18 months.
