Anyone else feel really shit like u feel depressed but most likely aren't, lol!??

Think it's all down to current climate and the fact my job that I love is only temp and am watching my back everyday

 

I just hate this time of year and that makes me depressed.

 

your not the only one. i'm well down this year. not my usual happy self. an work is a joke. this year i've had 2 companies bail out on me. i'm a self employed driver, one went out of business owing me 1200 quid. so i just took a job with the 90p store in spalding just to have some money coming in and what do you know, 3 days in a they tell me they can't pay me so i left. now i've been working for a local company driving through an agency and the bastards haven't paid me on time for 3 weeks, money was not in there last friday and they promised me it would be today, been to the bank and nothing.. and the company is now not answering there phones. so it looks like i'm in the shite again. i can't take much more of this. all i want is to look after my family and kids but i just can't seem to get anywhere lately and it really is bothering me, silly thing is, the misses is getting it in the neck because of my worries. an now summer has all but gone. my lovely granada is sat on the drive covered in dust and cobwebs and the battery is dead. but i just don't have the funds to run it an that is pissing me off aswell. Is everything against me or what????

 

snap join the club im a self employed plasterer and last year got a big contract in gibraltart moved out there with my gf all was sweet christmas time weather got bad and job was flooded and got laid off spent new year driving back to uk and this year so far had 9 weeks work totally skint had to take the series 2 off the road which the garage door fell on to the roof so had to spend a fortune fixing that decided to bring it out 1 weekend to wash it drove it literally 5 metres and the clutch went and im sick spend all day stuck at home with no car no money and it sucks

i know how u feel m8 ive bin to college for 3 years doin plumbing and now cant get a job doing anything within the construction trade or anything else for that matter..

 

should we all protest?

 

Must be an odd time, I am usually pretty upbeat but this year seems to be so depressing.

Don't feel much like going out on the sesh, doing bits at the house but can't overly be bothered. Work is quiet so the days seems to drag then the evening seem to be gone in a flash, same as the weekends.

Think a few people feel the same, maybe it is the on off summer we have had, seem to have been waiting waiting waiting for the summer then it's Autumn.

Must be getting old lol!!

 

I think it's because every time we open our front door or read the news we see the country going down the pan in every way possible. I've got a lot to be grateful for, I have to tell myself, but I'm feeling very low at the moment.

I really thought this was gonna be my year, in a happy relationship, good job, good money and looking forward to a great summer. Well I got none of that, lost my job, no summer holiday, no money and spending everyday the same. Few weeks ago I found out my girlfriend didn't want to be with me so lost that aswell, don't want to get soppie but she was perfect really thot she was it. Tell me it's gonna get better?? Was talking about when people say ' new year, new start' when really it's a cycle and is just another day. Just right gutted about everything in life, fighting for a job I love is last thing I have Apologise for my downer, lol.

 

The state of the economy is having a knock on effect on a lot of people's confidence in staying in work I reckon, certainly takes the edge off an otherwise happy year for me.
