Default Closed loop on Pectal T6 which oxygen sensor and where from??

Evening all!

As above really.

I have been led to believe the NTK L1H1 is the one to go for as its very fast but I cant find one for sale (new only) for an idea of their current prices put have been told to expect around £300!?

What are all you guys using on your cars and how much did you pay?

Cheers!

He'll be the right side of Pectels prices

Don't try and ring him for a 2 minute chat in your lunch break though - he's a chatter

Top guy though, very knowledgable, will be totally straight with you about what you can and can't run on T6 and give you sensible prices

Cheers chap!

Makes a difference having somebody willing to discuss things with you instead of just wanting to take your money and fuck you off the line quick sharp never to be answered again! I have spent thousands and thousands with some tuners in recent times and now the job is done they wont even return a call or answer emails with one word!

They werent to busy to take the cash and promised the world at that point!

Sorry rant over now! LOL!

Sadly i've heard of that quite a bit Dan

Phill's a good lad though - i'm pretty sure he'll recommend the NTK as it is genuinely a lab grade sensor, yet tough enough to survive complete seasons in competition cars using closed loop control throughout the whole rev range even under boost!

At £300 your looking at a wideband. Do you need to use a wideband for closed loop on that type of system? Surely not....?

JAmes.

The NTK in conjuction with something like T6/T6 2000/SQ6 can be used to compensate the fuelling throughout the whole rev range.

I've seen a 6R4 Metro rally car using SQ6 and an NTK setup maintain perfect fuelling under load even with a throttle slide jammed open!!!

Even if Dan only uses the closed loop fuelling like the 'rest' of us do, to around 4000rpm or 2psi of boost pressure - datalogging could be accurately performed with the NTK even if it's not actually adjusting the fuelling

Its more to trim the fueling up than anything as its VERY thirsty at the moment! Although its not been live mapped.

The idea is to run it all the time for perfect fueling as you mentioned above hence the need for the more expensive item.
