Default best polish for dark colours

just bought a focus st170 in dark blue nearly black can anyone reccommend a good polish/wax to use. I usually always use autoglym tried super resin on it good results but very chalky leaving dust all over the place. Any advise would be appreciated. (the car is a solid colour not metalic)

Try poorboys blackhole and dodo juice purple haze for a wax afterwards.

Try using your applicator for Auto Glym damp and try not to use too much product both can stop the dusting.

Is it a solid colour, or does it have a metallic/pearlescent flake in the finish?

I did not know they did a ST170 in a dark blue almost black colour, they only came in 4 colours
Panther Black :- pearlecent metallic
Imperial Blue :- Metallic
Capri Blue :- solid colour
Grey :- metallic
There might be a very rare horrible solid blue out there too but no dark blue?

Has the car been re-sprayed?

For the Smokestone enquiries - thanks for the picture; seeing as its much darker than I thought, here is our recommended guide for dark metallic/pearl finishes...
