2ltr zetec turbo
hey guys im looking into buying a s1 shell and wanted a good engine
the 1.6 cvh just aint enough for me to be honest
so looking at 2ltr zetec
but what needs to be done to make this turboed?
im thinking uprateed rods and pistons just for the power side i was looking for around the 300 mark
im assuming an oil return feed for the turbo in the sump and one on the filter for the return again?
what turbo would u recomend?
and would it need to be independant management for this power also what injectors would you run with? and would you modify the rs turbo manifold to fit the zetec?

PEC pistons & rods (pistons will ne machining to desired cr)
Modified head to accept turbo manifold and inlet (unless you go custom)
VXR or similar injectors
uprated fuel pump & adjustable regulator
Mappable ecu & loom
there a few stater items for you to think about

you can leave the head standard but you will need uprated valve springs to run anything over 8psi
use the rs1800 zetec inlet with modded fuel rail...ie frst with 803 greens
if your doing cheapish,run an erst manifold with a stg3 turbo/t34
obviously the pistons and rods need sorting
there are so many cheap aftermarket ecu packages it unreal....take your pick
