bleed nipple at top or bottom?

mate's got aftermarket brakes on his corsa...
quick Q...
should the bleed nipple be at the TOP or the BOTTOM when bleeding? as his brakes feel really spongy and it may be coz they werent bled properly if they calipers go on upside down or summink.. ta guys

I take it this is james corsa, i know him off corsasport as he bough my old wheels, has he got V6 brakes by anychance, as they allways feel spongy, becasue of a slight problem with the master cylinder not being big enough

yeah jim brakes are what i know have learned to know
deffo make sure there right at top, if they aint remove 1 caliper bolt to ensure the nipple is at the top totally to remove all air from system
