Hi Rog

First thing I would do is check all the connections into the back of the display module - they can be prone to working loose so make sure they are all tight

Mine hasn't worked for years! Sometimes it works for about 5 mins then doesn't work again for 6 months!

I dunno what's up with it... But tbh it doesn't really bother me.

My warning display kept going off and it was the connector on the ecu behind the das that was at fault.I used 2 cable ties to resurcure connector.

Easy fix last night for this, the connector in the door for the warning display wasn't plugged in
It was tucked down inside each rear door so once i found the plug i connected it and it works as it should. I haven't looked at the red temp sensor yet but i suspect that it's basically the same issue.
****NOTE***** Ont the 2wd there are 2 wires for the warning display sensor in the loom going to the door, but on the 4x4 doors there are 3 wires that the other end of the plug connects to. The connector just plugs straight in and it works so I don't know what the 3rd wire is for, but it works without it being connected.

it's for the alarm mate as all the 90 spec cars had the factory alarm fitted and set with the key in either door barrel
