Can anyone recomend a good shade of silver to use on standard series 2 wheels to get an origional factory look?

used to be a painter n panel beater n we always used pug platinum silver for alloys was closest to a standard finish

does depend if u want it to look standard or something a bit different!
statros silver looks nice!!

just dont paint them black or gark silver not a nice look on standard rst wheels makes them look small

thanks i painted them myself, if you do it make sure you use plenty of laquer to bring out the shine.

i always used to coat mine in loads of auto glym to keep the shine n protect them

u could always go a bit funky with them my new rs2k has had its wheels laquered with a pearl tint looks the bolloks with the aubogine paint work

yes my old XR3i cabriolet was resprayed in dark blue, the laquer had pearl in and it was amazing in the sunlight. it gleamed.

i used stratos silver on my cossie wheels thats what ford use according the the bloke in the paint shop
