do any1 use one of thease, or are they just waist of money on the rs

i was thinking about one of these a while ago when i took the water cooling off the turbo.
i have no idea but am interested in the results.

but i've never played with one myself.

i no this is a bit random but my dads got one on his evo..... its really helpfull coz it runs for a minute after switchin off cooling down and hes in the house ive got 1 ready to go on my rs just need some1 to set it up for me

dont bother mate. i got one in coz it was there when i brought it. i just leave it switched off.

if your car is stolen while your turbo timer is on, (in theory your car is still running) therefore you ARE FUCKED. insurance cant do enyting>>>>

It would be open for debate because the car is running but the keys aren't in it and the steering lock engages.

And obviously they'd have to break into it as normal.

It's not like going to defrost your car with the keys in it.

I have one fitted to my car and it comes in handy if you've been out and given it a bit of stick and want to let it cool down. But in general, the times that people let them coold down for are very excessive.

Plus if it's wired in correctly the engine would cut-out as soon as the handbrake is released.

ive tried driving my old mans away wen the keys are out and been switchd off and as soon as it counts downt to zero the car stops so there is no chance of it getting far
